How transactions get categorized

Every transaction gets sorted into a category like "Office supplies" or "Telephone & internet" — these are the buckets the CRA uses on tax returns.

If we're 90%+ sure, we just file it. If we're less sure, it goes into the Review queue.

When you confirm a category for a vendor (e.g. "Always treat Bell as Telephone & internet"), we remember it forever for that vendor. The system gets smarter every time you use it.

You can re-categorize anything at any time — we keep an audit log so nothing's ever lost.
