Switching from QuickBooks

Yes, you can bring your QuickBooks data with you. Two ways to do it:

The easy way (we'll do it for you): for the first six months we offer free white-glove migration. Send us your QuickBooks export and we'll bring everything in — chart of accounts, transactions, vendors, the works.

The DIY way: in QuickBooks, go to Reports → Account Transactions → Export → Choose CSV, IIF, or QBO. Then in Canadian Bookkeeping, click Import from QuickBooks in the sidebar and drop the file in. We auto-detect the format.

Imported transactions land in your Review queue so you can sanity-check categories before they're posted to your books.
